Kat is amazing and sweet!

Kat came into my life at a very stressful time and I could not have survived without her. She knew I was struggling with my puppy and dealing with cancer. She is passionate about what she does and cares for every dog that comes into her life as her own.

She cared for my puppy for 2 weeks and he came back almost a different dog. My dog, Bear, will sleep in his crate now. He is way better on a leash and she explained to me things to do at home to make my life easier. She will forever be in my life and I am beyond grateful for her.

I highly recommend her to anyone needing help with their puppy or grown dog, no matter what breed. She is a wealth of knowledge! She will work magic and is an angel on this earth! She was brought into my life for a reason and I will be forever thankful!

Kat Worked Wonders With Toby (and Me)

We have a Treeing Walker Hound who is driven by his nose and is extremely vocal – especially on walks and in the car. When Kat said we could make significant improvements in 4 sessions, I was highly skeptical. As soon as she walked in the door, Kat was able to assess the situation and quickly take command, and then worked out a plan to make improvements.

She does everything in a very collaborative and friendly manner – both to my dogs and my family. She makes it fun while also being serious when needed.

Toby made huge strides in just 4 sessions, which included teaching me how to take command of the situation to get ahead of when Toby starts to get worked up. As long as I did my homework between sessions, Toby got better and better.

Now, I don’t dread taking walks or driving with Toby. Since he is a hound, he is stubborn, so there is still more work for me to do, but now I know the tools.

I highly recommend Kat to train your dogs.

Not only is she skilled and talented but she is also extremely professional and always prioritizes the dog’s best interest for the long-term. It is very apparent that this is Kat’s passion and that she really cares about her customer’s dogs. In addition, she is always honest and positive with customers and will not prompt for additional lessons where not required; making recommendations wherever possible. She is also always there to respond to any questions even outside of the lesson. Kat has a wealth of knowledge, experience and a natural talent with dogs. She truly understands how to communicate and handle all types of puppies and dogs throughout their various life cycle. She is a responsible dog owner herself and her methods of training are highly respectable. I cannot commend her enough, we’ve had our german shepherd puppy for almost half a year and after only a few lessons, he is becoming quite the star; receiving compliments on his good behavior everywhere we go!

Great Trainer, Great Person!

Hire this trainer!! We are an older couple who adopted a crazy dog that we loved, but could not handle. It worked! Kat worked with Lucy and Lucy’s parents very patiently and taught us to watch the pups body language and how to correct unwanted behaviors. We now have a much more relaxed home and a happier, more self confident pup! Great trainer, Great person!

Knowledgeable and super cool to work with!

Knowledgeable and super cool to work with!!! I met Kat about 6 years ago when I had a young dog named Kobi who was in dire need of some obedience training and boarding. Kobi was quickly named “Houdini” as he was able to escape just about every holding place known to man. This did not deter Kat and she knew exactly what to do with him. She worked with him on a regular basis and he became a new dog. Kat is extremely knowledgeable and will work with your dog at the pace needed. She is very loving and kind but firm when needed. Since then I have referred her to many friends and family, all who have been very impressed. I would highly recommend Kat for your fur baby needs. She’s the real deal and has made working with dogs her life and has real passion for what she does.

Taming My Wild One

I decided to get my first big dog four years ago, a beautiful, crazy husky mix. She was out of control and I had no idea what to do with her. I brought her to Kat and I’ve never seen dog training look so easy. My puppy loved her and she taught me that one of us had to be in charge and the puppy wasn’t ready. By the end of our sessions my little wild thing would sit, stay, wait, come when called, even “go to her place” when company came. Best of all she learned to listen, and I learned to expect her to. I catch myself still quoting things she said to me four years later. She is an incredible trainer and made a world of difference for myself and my pup.

Honest and Knowledgeable

I first met Kat in 2014 while relocating to Jax from Boston with my two GSD’s Jude and Sky. I needed a place for daycare and boarding that I could trust and who had real trainers running the place.
The pups loved her and loved going there. I also looked forward to picking them up because I always had questions for Kat that she was happy to help me with.

Fast forward to 2020 and I have a new puppy that I decided to try training myself, BUT I knew I would need help so we are using her One on One Private Sessions and with her honest, professional knowledge, and people skills, I have no doubt that we will turn Sarge into a star that shines very bright. She is a very skilled and professional trainer that I will definitely refer all my friends to as the needs arise in the future.
